About La Louve
Hello, Kwe !
I am Wendat, part of the First Nations, born and raised in Wendake in Québec.
Over the years, I felt more and more called upon by my roots and by the Native American (Autochthonous) culture. Growing up, I realized that art was alive inside of me, so I decided to gather all of my knowledge, my talents and my origins to create my web store, "Créations La Louve." Every creation is handmade at my workshop in Wendake and is of Native American inspiration. Therefore, they are all unique and made from the inspiration of the moment.
I chose the name "Créations La Louve" because my family is part of the clan of the Wolf. For ages among Wendats, every family is part of a different clan. Eight clans exist in our community: the Deer, the Turtle, the Bear, the Wolf, the Beaver, the Eagle, the Porcupine and the Snake. From the eight existing clans of the Wendat nation, four of them are represented in Wendake: those of the Deer, the Wolf, the Bear and the Turtle.
Being eager to learn, to pass on my knowledge and my values while also feeling a vital need to create, here is what pushed me to open my web shop, in all simplicity.
Goodbye, Önenh !
Thank you, tiawenhk !
